Dr Joseph Sony Jean

Dr. Joseph Sony Jean is an Haitian archaeologist. He has a bachelor in History of Art and Archaeology from the Université d’Etat d’Haiti and studied both History and Archaeology at the University of the West Indies Mona campus in Jamaica. He holds a Research Master from the Université de Toulouse-Le Mirail in France. From 2014 Sony worked on his PhD as part of the NWO-Spinoza funded grant, affiliated to the ERC project NEXUS1492, Faculty of Archaeology, Leiden University
