Alan Powell

Alan Powell is Emeritus Professor of History at Charles Darwin University, Darwin. He has taught, researched and written mainly on north Australian and World War II History – 10 books and numerous articles – there for more than forty years. He has covered nearly all of north and central Australia by four-wheel drive and sailed extensively in his yacht on north Australian coasts.
