Explaining how disasters cost the lives of over 670,000 people in ADB's developing member countries between 2004 and 2020, it uses a post-disaster scenario-based approach that requires participants to role-play various personas. Focusing on sectors including agriculture, housing, and transport, the handbook aims to support internal training programs and strengthen the ability of ADB staff to work together to support post-disaster recovery efforts.
