Andrea Zhok (Trieste, 1967) has studied at the universities of Trieste, Milan (PhD), Vienna and Essex (MPhil). He is currently professor of Moral Philosophy at the Philosophy Department at the University of Milan, and collaborates as a columnist with a number of newspapers and magazines. His books include Il concetto di valore: dall’etica all’economia [The Concept of Value: From Ethics to Economics] (2002), Lo spirito del denaro e la liquidazione del mondo [The Spirit of Money and the Liquidation of the World] (2006), Libertà e natura [Freedom and Nature] (2017), and Identità della persona e senso dell’esistenza [Identity of the Person and Meaning of Existence] (2018).
