Il Titano del Chianti

Built in 1907 in a traditionally agricultural context, the “Testi” cement factory soon became one of the industrial cornerstones of the Chianti area. In retracing its long history, up to its definitive closure in 2021, the volume offers wide information about the production of cement in Italy and Europe, following the development of the sector throughout all the twentieth century.
